Aalto Fablab has a new location! The new address is Otakaari 7 (entrance 7C). For that reason the Aalto Fablab team is organising an opening party on 1st of March 2019. We start at 17:00. You are very welcome!
Below you can see a list of activities that we plan to have.

- Live machine demos (vinyl stickers, laser badges, CNC coffee table)

3D Scanning by Jason
Ever watched movies such as Tron or Matrix and wondered how people got transferred into the 3D cyberspace? This is your chance to get closer to that and learn how to use current technology to capture your 3D representation (or that of your favourite object) to be used with your 3D software of choice. No prior computer knowledge is required to join the workshop.
3D Milling by Niklas
Ever wanted to try milling? Now is your chance! Try out modelling with Fusion360, bring a ready 3D model or just learn the basics. You will learn the basics with making tool-paths with Fusion360 and you will get to mill something small with Roland MDX-40 or MDX-20. Some understanding of 3D modelling and digital manufacturing required.
